A recent consumer survey by Deloitte reported that close to nine out of 10 adults (aged 18-75) have a phone that can support mobile applications. In fact, 95 percent of smartphone owners use their device every day for such activities as online searching, watching and recording videos, checking bank balances, social media and networks, reading the news, playing games, making voice calls, and taking photos. The statistics are shocking and even more so knowing that over half of those 36 million Americans are under the age of 65.
