TUSTIN HEARING CENTER INTRODUCES FIRST-OF-ITS KIND, HEARING BOOTCAMP FOR HEARING LOSS - JUNE 22

Tustin, CA (June 11, 2012) – Tustin Hearing Center announced today that it will hold its first Hearing Loss Bootcamp, a fast-paced, intensive 3-hour hearing event designed to find immediate, custom-tailored hearing solutions for those who need them. Audiologists and hearing specialists will be on site to consult with attendees and help them explore the latest hearing technologies that might be right for them.

According to a Consumer Reports Study done in July 2009, medical evidence shows that hearing aids can improve quality of life and relationships with friends and family.  Hearing loss can affect children, adults and elderly and when left untreated it has been linked to depression, reduced alertness, impaired memory and weakened job performance. Tustin Hearing Center has been known for over 23 years as a premier provider of hearing services, providing an innovative and caring approach to helping people with hearing loss find the right solutions.

“When people are experiencing hearing loss, the extra effort needed to decipher words and keep track of who is speaking can be mentally exhausting,” says Janell Reid, Au.D., founder of Tustin Hearing Center.  “There are so many amazing new technologies now available that easily and discreetly or invisibly make hearing possible.  At the Bootcamp, attendees will receive current information and find the right solutions for them.  In fact, many people will walk into our offices feeling that they are losing their edge because of hearing loss and will walk out hearing freely again!”

The Tustin Hearing Center Bootcamp was designed for busy people who are looking for condensed information, clear options for their unique situation and immediately available devices. New advancements in hearing aid technologies make it easy to find hearing freedom, from long-lasting batteries to Bluetooth® enabled devices that work with your television, computer and cell phone. Bootcamp attendees will get to try a variety of device styles, including behind-the-ear, in-the-canal and completely invisible hearing aids from premier brands such as Audigy®, Lyric®, Oticon®, Starkey® and more.
